Company History
Landon’s Tire was started in 1966 by Walter Landon in a one-bay garage in Chaplin, Connecticut. This one-bay garage soon became too small to operate, so in 1967 Mr. Landon relocated the business to 255 Main St. in Willimantic, CT. Throughout years of providing great personalized tire service, the business continued to grow at that location, which also became too small to handle the increasing number of satisfied and valued customers. In 1977 the business was moved again to 611 Windham Road, in Willimantic, CT.
By 2006 two new services bays were added to our location as a result of continuing business growth and development, and in that same year Jeffrey Landon became the new owner. Jeff had already been working with the company since 1981. So throughout years of success and growth, our company continues to be family owned and operated!

Jeffrey Landon, owner, has 28 years of experience in the automotive repair industry.
Papo Alvarez, service manager, has 26 year of experience in the automotive repair industry.
Landon’ Tire has a friendly and professional team of seven skilled and experienced technicians with a combined experience of over 70 years in the automotive repair industry.
